Day 1: Hanoi Capital – Van Long Nature Reserve ( Ninh Binh province)
We will pick you up from Ha Noi Hotel or Noi Bai airport transfer 2,5-3hours to Van Long Nature Reserve where is one of the largest inland wetland in the Northern Red River Delta and Limestone systerm is home of Delacour’s Langur which is one of endemic Langur species in Viet Nam. Check in at Van Long Greem Hotel ( **). After the luch we will take the boad trip to the Limestone cliff looking for Delacou’s Langur in the afternoon and come back befor durk sky, dinner and over night at Green Van Long Hotel.
Day 2: Van long Nature – Cat Ba Ntional Park
After breakfast we will go to the Village where is far from the hotel about 3km by car, we will walk to clossing the limestone cliff to take some more pics of Delacour’s Langur, back hotel treck out, luch. after luch we will transfer to Cat Ba National Park about 3,5 hours. Stay overnight at Cat Ba Papillon Garden Bungalow & Resort.
Day 3: Cat Ba National full day
Today we will go to the boat dock moving to the Cat Ba Langur location and full time in the morning to take pictures from the boat, luch, come back again for you to get perfect pictures. We have dinner, night at the same Bungalow &Resort
Day 4: Cat Ba National Park – “Tay” Village (Ha Giang province)
Today we will make an early start from your hotel at Hanoi Capital to “Tay” village, a small village of Tay people – the largest ethnic minority group in Vietnam, located in Ha Giang province. Your belongings will be collected in individual large bags and sent to our porters to prepare for the following day. You will receive this bag upon reaching the campsite. Night at “Tay” village.
Day 5: “Tay” Village – Campsite
We will start trekking for approximately 4 hours with some rocky sections. We will reach the campsite in the afternoon and start exploring some areas to find the Langurs. Night at campsite with sleeping bags.
Day 6-9: Campsite – “Tay” Village
We will have four full days to find and try to get pictures of this amazing “Tonkin Snub-nosed Monkey”, one of the most endangered primates on the planet (With fewer than 250 individuals in the wild), found only in a few isolated forest fragments among the karst limestone peaks of northern Vietnam. The name of this species describes their remarkable upturned noses, which appear to be pressed back against the face. The face is bluish white, blue-black around the muzzle, and in adults the pink lips are enlarged to clown-sized proportions.
Day 10: “Tay” Village – Hanoi Capital
After breakfast you’ll pack up camp and start trekking back to the “Tay” village. After this strenuous ascent, you will have time to relax before driving to Hanoi Capital for your departure flights.
